2015 will mark the 50th birthday of the Canberra Theatre. So in these years leading to that time I am documenting many of the productions and processes that illustrate the theatre and the people who make up 'the theatre'.

While much of the pleasure of the theatre is getting lost in the magic of the on-stage performance, I like to record the work that goes on backstage and around the theatre too.

I am grateful for the rare access I have been given to record much of the backstage activity and preparation. I hope this allows to appreciate the skill and professionalism of the efforts that makes our theatre experience so wonderful.
